COURSE SYLLABUS

Course Objective – At the end of the course, the EA Personnel will be able to operate the business according to MOM regulations and FDW source country policies.

 

MODULE 1 – INTRODUCTION TO EA BUSINESS AND FDW SUPPLY. (1/2 day)

Course Objective – At the end of the course module, new EA Personnel will have adequate knowledge of the industry and know how to get accredited with various source country for FDW Supply.

Lesson 1- Introduction to EA business.

  1. What is a MOM licensed EA?      

  2. Industry Statistics

  3. Business model

  4. EA Business Office set-up and Operations.

Lesson 2 – FDW source country accreditation requirements

  1. Process/Documentation – Application for accreditation / Job Order

  2. Characteristics of various country FDWs.

 

MODULE 2 – BUSINESS PROCESSES AND DOCUMENTATION (1/2 day)

Course Objective - At the end of the course module, the trainee shall be conversant with the details on how to transact a sales in accordance with MOM compliance checklist and TM criteria.

  1. Marketing your FDWs

  2. EA sales cycle

  3. Post Sales Services

  4. Business processes and forms.

  5. Notes on Philippines and Indonesian FDW Application/Home Leave /Passport Renewal / Undertaking.

     

Lesson 2 – MOM and TRUSTMARK Compliance

  1. WP ONLINE – Introduction and usage.

  2. MOM Checklist – Ensuring business compliance for business processes and forms.

  3. EA Checklist

     

MODULE 3 – JOB OFFER AND EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT (1/2 day)

Course Objective – At the end of the course module, the trainee shall be conversant with the EC and Job Offer, how to do a proper job matching (interview Employer and FDW) and how to handle difficulties after FDW has been deployed to work with Employer.

Lesson 1 – MOM service measurement, Biodata, Job Offer and Employment Contract.

  1. MOM Service Measurement (Success Retention Rate and Transfer rate)

  2. MOM Bio-data : Particulars, Education, Medical, Competencies, Employment history

  3. Job Offer and job matching.

  4. The FDW Employment Contract

  5. Managing Employer’s expectations.

  6. Managing difficulties after deployment

     

Lesson 2Customer Services (case studies/discussion on avoiding and problem solving)

  1. Post sales Customer Service

  2. Case Studies (Class discussion, offer solutions and discussed by class).

     

MODULE 4 – SERVICE AGREEMENT, CONTRACTS & OTHER FORMS (1/2 day)

Course Objective – At the end of the course module, the trainee shall understand the obligations of the EA and know the industry standards as inputs for AEA(S) Service Agreement, Packages and Services and Fees Schedule. The trainee shall also be acquainted with other forms in the EA Portal.

Lesson 1 – AEA(S) Service Agreement, Packages and Services and Fees Schedule

  1. Packages / Setting Packages

  2. Service agreement – detail explanation of clauses and industry standards.)

  3. Services and Fees Schedule and how to set them. Issues and problems.

     

Lesson 2 - FDW Contracts and Agreement

  1. Job Offer

  2. AEA(S), Philippines and Indonesian Employment Contracts

     

Lesson 3 – Other forms

  1. All the other forms, receipts and records and their usage.

  2. Case studies – what happen when you do not protect yourselves?
